Historic Bethel German Colony

Bethel is located in northeast Missouri on Highway 15 about 13 miles north of Shelbina and about 25 miles south of Edina.

From Hannibal, Missouri, follow Highway 36 west to Shelbina and turn north (right) onto Highway 15, passing through Shelbyville and then 5 miles further north to Bethel.

From Macon, Missouri, follow Highway 36 east to Shelbina and turn north (left) onto Highway 15, passing through Shelbyville and proceeding on to Bethel.

From Kirksville, Missouri, take Highway 6 to Edina and turn south (right) onto Highway 15, proceeding on to Bethel.

From Quincy, Illinois, take Highway 61 south to Hannibal,  turn right onto Highway 36 west to Shelbina and turn north (right) onto Highway 15, passing through Shelbyville and  on to Bethel.
